About me

I started weight training when I was 18. Like most male teenagers, I wanted a muscular physique that looked good when I took my shirt off. There’s no hiding from the fact this was superficial & shallow, nevertheless this was the start of my journey. I soon realised having this mentality at the outset would not keep me motivated for long, if I did not see the results I envisioned. Through reading numerous articles online. I started to read other peoples reasons for working out. Many were positive underlying health benefits, to regular training. I suffered from Asthma although I didn’t let this affect my love for sports. I made the school football, basketball, rugby & athletics team. Around the age of 14, I was diagnosed with Osgood–Schlatter disease, which unfortunately affected both knees. Needless to say I was no longer allowed to participate in sports, as this would cause further damage. After 7 years of continuous weight training in the gym, now setting SMART goals. I am happy to say that my before mentioned ailments have subsided and ive never felt better. To the point that I started playing American Football last year. I have also recently become a Certified Personal Trainer so that i can further my knowledge and help others to achieve there fitness goals.
